I always loved snow more than rain.I hate rain.It ruins my hair.my makeup.my clothes.my shoes.But snow...Snow is innocent.I remember my childhood times (I grew up in Eskisehir its a snowland beautiful city).I miss Eskisehir I better go there sometime.Its a gorgeous city.Anyway.Since weekend Istanbul is covered white.all snow.It was still snowing tonight.Snow is like a silent peace.But its hard to walk with even snow boots.Booo!Istanbul has some postcard-ic views now.

I was hunting for these heels like ages.I was going to buy when Zara released them and then they were out of stock so I missed the opportunity to buy these.Then I've seen these kind of heels in different brands not avaible here and today I bought them as a stardust.I bought them from Stradivarius on sale today at Nisantasi:) You know what? This spring platform heels are OUT and no platform high heels are IN.and these shoes are very trendy this spring you'll see them everywhere soon.I ran out of photographer but today in the upcoming weeks I'll be able to post more outfit photos of mine.

NARS MAKEUP FOR RODARTE SS2012 RUNWAY

I am a huge fan of smokey eye makeup too bad I haven't done it lately I am mostly into eyeliner with wings so ı skip that look but here for Spring 2012 runway for Rodarte Nars created a great look.We are lucky enough to have Nars counters and makeup studios in Istanbul.When you go strong for eye makeup just go for light shades of lipgloss or lipstick as they did.

By the way I read the interview of Rodarte sisters at UK edition Instyle Jan issue and I guess I will progress my own label like they did.I've been working on it.

I have been buying magazines since I was 12 something.All my teen years I bought Music magazines and fashion magazines for girls and at 15 I ended up buying my first editions of Harpers Bazaar and Marie Claire.and then Elle and international magazines.My favorite magazine was Seventeen which my American penfriend sent me at like 1994.I was so young and it was the most beautiful magazine I ever had that included fashion,music,coping with being a teen and more.and someday I found stores that sells international magazines including Seventeen.I bought whenever I can but mostly twice a year.International magazines are ridiculusly pricey in Turkey(still), and during university years I kept buying really cool fashion magazines but I was too busy with school and life.and now I have much more interest and study in fashion I like inspirational and influencial fashion magazines that inspire.Turkish reprints are never enough since ages so I only buy international editions of Vogue,Elle and Nylon.I really love Vogue UK,Vogue Italia and Vogue Paris.I also think Spanish editions of Vogue,Elle and Harpers Bazaar are very professional.I ended up buying UK editions of Vogue,Harpers Bazaar and Elle like every month.I like to read in English.I don't ever buy US edition of Vogue or any other magazines because they are not enough to me.The power is UK,Italian and French editions of Vogue.A couple of times I bought Tatler but I dont get it.They are doing this mag for older high society ladies right? I ended up to this point.The content of Tatler is kind of like for a Queen at age of 60.My favorite inspirational magazines are I-D,Dazed and Confused and Another.They are both Brit and I love contents and photoshoots and editorials and all the life effect and taste.I love them.they give a bright color to newsstands.I also like V.Its very inspirational.But to be honest French magazines give great French chic info.They sell French style.French editions of L'Officiel and Grazia.I also discovered STYLE Papers Magazine of France when I was in Paris and no its not avaible in Tr or UK(at least I never saw it around London).Vogue japan is also experimental.Marie Claire and Elle has best editions as Italian and French..Instyle UK has great content too.But I am lately so in love with INDUSTRIE.I don't know why I discovered it so late.Its an insider magazine mostly interviews of people from fashion industrie and they tell all.The content is like nothing else also they have cool photoshoots and soooo many interviews.Great info.I keep buying,reading and highlighting my international magazines and as a collector of all these years I have to thank to all of the inspirational people working in this industry.I achieved a great backround and knowledge.Magazines are a great colour of my life.Especially in gray winter days when theres no colour around.

I enjoy mostly checking out contents before I buy a magazine.Yes I read tons of international street style blogs but sometimes all you like is print to keep.My favorite magazine of all time? Vogue UK and Elle UK.They have great editorials and I love 60s.I also love Vogue Italia.But my favorite independent magazine is Another.Industrie is number one to read interviews.Yes I know.Alot.But I breathe fashion,I live fashion and they feed me.That's my world.

I dont like reading reprints of worldwide international magazines so I buy original copies.I bought Italian Marie Claire (I only like French,British and Italian Marie Claire) and I also had Industrie magazine.Its a great mag.I learnt about it from The Fashion Spot(Im a proud member but please dont ask for invitations).Anyway.I learnt that its not a good idea to be back from London without buying Industrie and Love magazine and I came back without them.But good thing they sell them here too.I accidently saw Industrie mag at an internation newsstand.Marie Claire Italia is also good with colours and editorials.

Pera Müzesi'ne uzun zamandır gitmek istiyordum.Bienalden ve Londrada gezdiğim yerlerden sonra uygun zaman dönüşümden sonraydı.Sonrasıydı.Pera Müzesine beni çeken Osman Hamdi Bey'in dünyaca ünlü tablosu Kaplumbağa Terbiyecisi oldu.En son gördüğüm de bütün müzeyi gezdikten sonra bu tablo oldu.Uzun uzun inceledim baktım.Detayları okudum hakkında.Okudukça baktım.Sadece onu görmeye gitmedim tabi.Çağdaş pekçok Türk ve Yabancı ressam ve sanatçının eserleri de vardı.Modern sanatla Osmanlı dönemine ait Türk ve Avrupalı o dönemin ressamlarının yaptığı portrelerden tutun da saray yada sokaktan insan manzaralarına kadar pekçok resim tuvalde ilk gün gibi sanki fotoğraflanmış gibi detayları ve gölgelemeleri ve força darbelerinin yüzyıllar önce değilde daha bugün atılmış gibi beni büyülediler.O döneme ait insanların giyimleri de tablolarda detayına kadar vardı ve çok güzeldi.Çektiğim bi kısım fotoğrafları insana yaşam sevinci veriyor.Bu yaşam zaten bir ilüzyon değil mi? Gerçek olan nefes almak mı, yoksa sonrası da var mı?

Around Spitalfields my first stop was my favorite vintage shop at London: Absolute Vintage.I wasn't expecting to buy a vintage pair of shoes but I ended up buying a vintage floral shirt and a pair of purple mid-heel shoes.I just fell in love with them.I wish I could haul more but I was on my limit of shopping so I skipped for next time but there were more cool shoes there that still in my mind.I really love Absolute Vintage and I might even shop online.Vintage is unique and I really like vintage even more than high street and sometimes high street brands come with great vintage inspired pieces.Anyway, I had a rush to visit Spitalfields so I spend some time there checked out dresses but couldn't find something on my mind but shoes were OMG! so true and stylish and from different fashion eras.

They are beyond the time.In UK magazines are December 2011 issues on newsstands already.I bought really cool magazines and the best thing is I bought I-D with Abbey cover - I couldn't find an Abbey cover in Turkey so I was lucky to find it in London :)

I bought these thights last summer from Top Shop and River Island stores from designer HENRY HOLLAND.and here Rihanna wearing my suspender tights:)

I waited to wear them in Tr I thought they would be a trend over here but no not here yet! so it makes me beyond the trends right?

I didnt pair my Henry Holland suspender thights with heels cause I walked so much around London and no need to pain for a tourist mode city local right?

I know I don't wear too much makeup for daily life and I love my 'just rolled out of bed' look but I have different moods during time to time so what I wear and how I look depends on my mood.and if I want to go glam and posh I have the talent to paint my own face and the goods.

Back from London I ended up on different makeup hauls that normally in Turkiye I am on a no buy.I have tonz of makeup in my makeup stash enough for the rest of my life.But if you put me in London once in a while you can't stop me buying brands that are not avaible in Turkiye.I love shu uemura (not avaible in Tr) and drugstore brands -store called Boots in London which carries Revlon(not avaible in Tr),Rimmel,Bourjois,an more +++ I also bought Gosh brow set.Its AMAZING! I shopped from different shops like SPACENK near Harrods and at Selfridges MAC and Illamasqua counters (I love Illamasqua counter at Selfrigdes).I really liked the MA at Illamasqua.By the way Illamasqua's motto is MAKEUP FOR YOUR ALTER EGO.I love this motto.I think everyone should be aware of their alter ego.I also checked out Top Shop makeup range and only ended up buying an eyeliner brush.I bought really good makeup and foundations from MAC and Revlon.Dior was on my mind for a good foundation but I'm not a big user of everyday foundation.Honestly I don't use foundation to work lately cause I'm suffering when I wake up early and have no time.I only use full makeup at weekends or when I'm going out for speacial occations.My friends are suprised by my skin- maybe I'm lucky maybe I'm caring after my skin well.Don't know.I always wish to have more cash for duty free at London Heathrow Terminal 1.They have the only Victorias Secret counter in Europe.I buy parfumes and scented lotions from VS and makeup.This time I also had chance to get this full everything in with lots of colours from lips to eyes to mascara to liners set from Holiday Collection.I also found Benefit counter and MAC Counter sooo good I ended up buying a couple of stuff from Benefit and MAC counters at Heathrow's Duty Free.From Benefit counter I ended up buying Oh La Lift and highbeam highlighters.

I tried Rimmel's famous Kate Moss red lipstick but didn't like it and tried so many different vibrant reds and ended up buying the best shade on me.I have a crush on red lips lately.

at shu counter at SPACE NK all I wanted was a black kohl eyeliner.who can think shu would name a shimmery gray eyeliner colour pencil naming it as BLACK for the basic collection.whoever goes to a shu counter can end up buying a shimmery gray eyeliner called BLACK.named BLACK.shame on shu uemura.

At SPACENK I ended up buying from NARS and Shu Uemura counters.I have to be honest Shu is extremely pricey in UK.Nars has the best blushes and also I bought two nailpolishes: one from Revlon collection color and the other is Nars night breed nailpolish.I loved them both.

from Boots I bough different Revlon makeup/concealer/foundation haul.I also bought Bourjois mascara the one thats not avaible in Tr yet that I discovered at Champs-Ellysees Paris Sephora store.I bought another tube for stock.No, I am not cheating on YSL faux cils blackest black mascara.

Normally I go bareface and just a piece of black eyeliner,mascara and blush is all about me for daytime.But if I'm on the mood or going out I'm the glam meets posh! :) ENJOY the photos/piece of my stash and new haul from London.

From MAC I bought their latest brush set I need and easy to carry with the pretty bag all ICE theme.

I was dreaming this bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs since last spring.I went to Paris and visited Paris store of Marc but they were ran out of this Natasha bag.I bought another Marc bag but I couldnt keep dreamin about it.This fall Marc released my dream bag again and I searched online from Harrods and Selfridges for black color of this bag.I asked Harrods if they have a black one (that they do not have a black one online store) and also no black in Harrods.So I ended up at Selfridges and found my black one there and love at first sight :) I'm going to put my splurge bag haul photos soon :)

I visited my friend and also I stayed at Staines from last weekend to this week.It was a great local experience in UK.They have a great town and shops including all the street fashion brands of UK,drustores,Boots,and debenhams and more.I was around town and shopped there.From Top Shop I bought 60s inspired faux fur coat in gray.From H&M I bought some accessories and at Debenhams there was a designer counter designers for Debenhams designs.

trying all those cool hats...I continued this hat try thing at Oxford Street's Top Shop.

Hey! I am at London for four days.I`ve been around the city for shopping and hanging around and seeing my friend Efsun.Yesterday I was at Oxford Street but before Oxford Street I visited Harrods and spent like 2hours there checking out all the collections from bag and shoe to clothes to beauty counters.I really loved Harrods.Before Harrods I shopped at SpaceNK around Harrods.They have shu uemura,nars and more.You know I love shu uemura and makeupforever.At Selfridges I hauled a new designer bag and Illamasque and Mac makeup haul.I also visited Forever21 and shopped there.I checked out Desigual,Primark,drugstores,Top Shop,New Look,River Island,French Connection and lots more.Today I was around Spitalfields,Brick Lane and Camden Town.I shopped at Absolute Vintage.I also visited lots of different vintage shops including Rocket.Photos and details are later when i got home.I am in love with my Absolute Vintage haul.I also adore my Top Shop haul.Its not been raining in the first days in London but since last 2 days its cold and rains,bummer.Cant wait to post on my hauls.Now I gotta be back my London time:) XX
