I previously wrote about the interview post of Mallory for her blog and now the video is done.Mallory Elizabeth of Everything+Nothing blog did an interview with me for their University Magazine that Journalism Students post their articles, photographs and videos called Jerk Magazine.She came to Istanbul from U.S.A. for a week, a couple weeks ago and she contacted me a month before that and we met at Taksim.I'm glad we met cause we chatted on "our passion that's common: FASHION" while we were drinking cafe at Taksim Starbucks.She recorded the interview on a video and asked me a bunch of questions about my blog,Istanbul city life and Vogue Turkiye's first Issue.I just watched the video and I realized its not easy to talk in English infront of a camera when you are not really prepared.But its my 3rd interview in my life and the first English interview.That's why please dismiss my slow speech I performed and normally I talk faster than what it looks like.Thank you Mallory!+great job :)

Video'yu bikaç kere izledim ve ilk düşüncem bukadar yavaş nasıl konuşabilmişim oldu:) Kötü İngilizcesi olan biri değilim ama kamera önünde ingilizce konuşmak okadar da kolay değilmiş.Gerçekten.Neden tutukluk yaşadığımı şimdi daha iyi anlıyorum sebebi ilk kez İngilizce röportaj vermem sanırım.Türkçe röportaj verirken sular seller gibi konuşan ben İngilizce sorularda duraksadığımı ve hızlı cevaplamadığımı gördüm ama bunun üzerinde çalışacağım.Normalde kamera kayıtta değilken daha hızlı konuşuyorum demekki gerçekten kamera ile ilgili bi durum var:)

Mallory, bikaç hafta önce Amerika'dan Istanbul'a bir haftalığına ziyarete geldi ve benimle irtibata geçti gelmeden çok önce.Ortak noktamız olan moda ve Istanbul stili üzerine benle görüşmek istedi ve Taksim Starbucks'ta buluştuk. Kendisi, Türkler kadar sıcakkanlı ve güleryüzlü.Röportaj sırasında duraksadığım oldu ve video'yu edit edeceğini, merak etmememi duraklamaları çıkaracağını söyledi.Cafede olunca çalan telefonlar, giren çıkan insanlar, ortamdan duraksamalar yaşadık. Mallory Gazetecilik okuyor ve son sınıf öğrencisi.Okulun jerk magazine isimli dergisi için benimle röportaj yaptı.Okul bittiğinde New York'a taşınmak ve moda üzerine kariyer yapmak istiyor. Yabancı moda dergileri ikimizin de ortak noktası. Türkiye'den de moda dergilerinin Türk edisyonlarından almış.

Istanbul üzerine, Vogue Türkiye'nin ilk sayısı üzerine ve nasıl istanbul fashion addict'i yazmaya başladığım üzerine konuştuk. Vogue'un Türkiye'ye geldiği için ne kadar sevindiğimi anlattım.Stam hakkında konuşurkenki yüz ifademe cidden çok güldüm...

This editorial is from year 2000 that means 9 years ago and wow! millennium year is so away from us now...As time passes by Kate got more and more huge in fashion biz with her own style.I love her very blonde hair here and Vivienne Westwood boots that got VERY popular after she was spotted wearing them and saying that she borrowed the clothes from a friend of hers.Whatever is, these boots made her signature style and has been worn by many celebs and stylies after her.For me, she's the only trendsetter of this century as a style icon woman with grunge just rolled out bad look and revealing strong cheekbones.

for styling she used pieces from Isabel Marant, Etro, Missoni, Kenzo, Barbara Bui, Roberto Cavalli, Emilio Pucci and more...This is my favorite styling cause I loved Isabel Marant,Etro,Missoni and Dries Van Noten most from Spring 2010 runway.You know I first thought Natasha Poly would be the first face for Vogue Turkiye but shes not,dont worry after a month shes on French Vogue cover with a great editorial.No mistakes!

Not really.She always had the same face pose in every single photo in this editorial with one eye closed by her hair.whats the point?Camel has the whole attention.deal.LOL.Emmanuelle Alt uses a great range of pantsuits.obsessively.maybe thats the whole point for spring 2010 trends?not really.I can't wear pantsuits all summer.don't expect it from me.But the colours are taking me into...

Mallory is a journalism student from USA who is interested in writing on fashion and foreign fashion magazines especially Turkish editions of mags like Vogue,Elle and so on.and when she visited Istanbul she wanted to do an interview with me.Last saturday we met at Taksim Starbucks.She came to Interview with me at her last day before the day she flied to USA back.We talked on her trip,her school,my life,her life,Vogue Turkiye,my blog,her blog and so on.If you are interested in what she wrote about me,what she talked with me, go to her blog: Everything + Nothing.

She recorded the whole interview to a camera for her fashion editorial job at University magazine and I answered all her questions in English(its not that hard to talk in English to a camera but its hard when you forget a word something lol).she had her notes and questions written in a phone notes page that she asked me a bunch of questions starting with how I started to blogging...more will be featured in her interview video.

Too bad we did forget to have a picture taken together.

Its maybe one of the last works of Melis for Harpers Bazaar (she's transferring to TR Elle.I first heard it from her at Istanbul fashion Week after Bahar Korçan show when we chatted-before TR Elle anounced.Its not my favorite work of Melis+Koray but I liked the cool&seducing pieces-very city style.Martin Margiela green jacket+Louboutin high heels are my favorite styling pieces.Also zoom the FENDI bag. And a big hint: suede red Miu Miu high heels are very my taste.delicious.who says diet?who?

İlk olarak bunu kendi ağzından Istanbul Fashion Week'de Bahar Korçan defilesi çıkışındaki sohbetimizde söylemişti.Bu en beğendiğim çalışmaları değil Koray+Melis'in ancak baştan çıkarıcı parçalar seçilmiş: Martin Margiela yeşil ceket+Louboutin nötr renk ince topuklu ayakkabılar favorim. WHAT I WORE TODAY= Old top and Top Shop denim.very basic sunday.

I am kind of in a rush between nothing.I bought other Turkish editions of fashion magazines of the month to check out how they came up to race with Vogue Turkiye first edition.And I am sorry but they failed! The editorials were not as good as I expected of this month of "other" Turkish fashion magazines.They also wrote less about Istanbul Fashion Week 2010 than they could.Also I am tired of seeing same styles and typical fashion articles over years and years.Turkish fashion magazines need invention.

Weekend was shy.I had a sunny saturday and a sunny sunday.I am also continuing mu new spinning class but oh! it hurts so much.But I am getting stronger on that.I am an old biker since I was 4?maybe?

By the way I also spend most of my time listening to good music from myspace.New bands are good for me so I say good.

On saturday night I freezed -yes-the weather was cold and sun was fake during the day but when I got into the night it was VERY cold.I hope not to get ill ever.

I have new a new life motto: never look back again.coz it does not help but it gives such a pain in the @ss...

and..summer 2010 HURRY UP!!!
